New Inventory

Need to insulate a wall, floor or ceiling? We recently received an entire semi-truckload of rigid insulation board. These 4 x 8 sheets vary in thickness from 1/2-inch to 4 inches and are brand new factory seconds. We are selling them for half what you would pay for similar insulation in pristine condition. In addition to insulating against heat and cold, they are great for sound insulation. Put this stuff on the inside of your garage walls and let the kids with the drums and electric guitars have at it. Guaranteed not to wake the dead.

Deconstruction Update

The Alameda ReUse Bazaar we will receive:

• Beautiful cherry paneling, kitchen cabinets, doors, and windows from a complete San Francisco remodel. This home was just remodeled 5 years ago!
• All materials from a 1960s custom home in Blackhawk
• Materials from two bathroom remodels in Berkeley
• A complete kitchen from a custom home in Moraga

In Los Angeles, the Habitat Home Improvement Store will receive:

• All materials from a 3500 sq-ft ranch house in the Hollywood Hills, including excellent dual pane windows and cabinetry, plus four sets of French doors.
• Used lumber from a 2500 sq-ft raised foundation house in Studio City, including long 2x6 and 2x8 as well as the usual 2x4 studs.

Silver Lake Yards in Los Angles will receive a load of beautiful 3/4-inch oak hardwood flooring from a WWII era bungalow in the San Diego area.

Silver Lake Yards is in full swing. If you Los Angeles folks have not yet visited, you are really missing out on some great stuff. Not all of the inventory is TRP's, but it's great nonetheless. We in Alameda are a bit jealous of the materials Bruce Baker has gathered in his Silver Lake warehouse.
