TRP Is Looking for a Few Good People
By Ted Reiff
In earlier editions, I have discussed TRP's expansion plans
in general terms. Bear with me this month while I get specific.
Because of our growth and geographic expansion, we are looking
for three to four people to fill important full- and part-time
positions in the home office and in regional field locations.
If you or individuals in your network are interested or
want more information, contact me through the TRP web-site.
In the Alameda home office: Our bookkeeper/office manager
is being promoted to the position of field coordinator,
so we will soon need the services of a part-time Bookkeeper
with solid QuickBooks experience as well as knowledge in
at least one other, more sophisticated, accounting system.
This position requires approximately 20 hours per week,
reports to the president and will gradually expand to a
full-time position.
Based out of our home office in Alameda: We are looking
for a full-time Northern California Area Manager
responsible for field marketing activities in the Bay Area.
This person will recruit and train demolition contractors
who wish to become TRP-certified deconstruction contractors,
and will assist them to sell their clients on the economic,
environmental and tax benefits of deconstruction and building
materials reuse. This person will also promote the ReUse
Solution™ to general contractors, architects, remodeling
contractors, and various local officials. The right person
will be in line for promotion to TRP Northern California
Regional Manager.
In our Southern California region: We are looking for two
Area Managers with the qualifications described above.
These positions will report to Lorenz Schilling, TRP Southern
California Regional Manager.
In Seattle: We will be hiring a Regional Manager
to head the newest office of TRP, scheduled to open in 2006.
This person will report to the president and be responsible
for building the Seattle region into a viable TRP market.
This is a very challenging position that requires some knowledge
of the construction industry plus administrative, managerial
and sales skills, and the ability to work independently.
Initially this person will act as a consultant, developing
a database of information on the Seattle marketplace. Later,
he or she will become a full-time employee with profit and
loss responsibility for the Seattle region.
If you know anyone who would like to join our team in any
of these important positions, please feel free to contact
me directly. I am anxious to fill them with high caliber
people.
