Note this address: 11017 Sutter Avenue, Pacoima, California.
Finally! Our Los Angeles customers, friends and supporters will be happy to know that on February 1, 2008, we opened a new Los Angeles warehouse located in the Pacoima area of the San Fernando Valley. Warehouse Manager Shannon Barnes was hired in early December and has been busy arranging the space, developing the advertising and promotion campaign, and unloading six semi-trailers filled with reusable, high quality building materials. Not only do we have materials from the Los Angeles market, but to stock up for the opening we shipped materials from San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle, Washington.
Like our other warehouses, this one features a vast array of used building materials at great prices. If it was used to build a house, this store has it. Included are appliances, bricks, cabinets, doors, hardware, lighting, lumber, plumbing fixtures, windows and vanities. If we don’t have it, we will get it, so stop by and put your name on Shannon’s "materials wanted" list. She will work hard to obtain whatever you need.
In 2007 TRP deconstructed over 60 homes in Southern California, and in 2008 we will do even better. With materials from all these projects coming in, plan to visit every few days to avoid missing something new.
We have leased approximately half the floor space at HB Redwood, a company that has been providing milled redwood products and custom doors and windows to the local market since the mid 1960s. Our portion of the premises consists of approximately 4,000 square feet of warehouse and 12,000 square feet of surrounding yard space. Next year we will increase our warehouse space to 6,000 square feet and the yard space to 14,000. This will give us plenty of room to grow and provide great products to the residents of Los Angeles.
While we partner with other retail warehouses in each of our regions (Northern California, Southern California, Denver/Boulder and Chicago), this is the third warehouse operated directly by TRP.
